MGM MIRAGE is the largest gaming company in Nevada, operating 10 casino and entertainment properties in Las Vegas alone. They are also leading real estate developers and are in the midst of building a multi-use hotel, residential, shopping and entertainment complex called City Center. The project will be the world’s largest LEED certified green building project in history.
FD Element used its thought leadership position to prepare wide-ranging analysis and forward looking projections about trends in sustainability in the hospitality and gaming industries, and also conducted extensive internal research about sustainable activities currently underway at MGM MIRAGE. This research formed the basis for recommendations that allow MGM MIRAGE to take advantage of green trends while avoiding potential pitfalls.
FD Element also developed an integrated curriculum for all of MGM MIRAGE’s 60,000 employees, allowing them to become public-facing ambassadors for the company’s sustainability initiatives. MGM MIRAGE continues in a position of market leadership for its sustainability initiatives.
